1. Information we process
- Account data: when you register or sign in, we process details such as your email address, account ID, verification status, and authentication tokens. Signing in with Google involves information made available through the selected Google sign-in flow.
- Learning preferences and activity: selected class, study stream, subjects, exam goals, study settings, saved preferences, and learning progress when these features are enabled.
- Content you choose to provide: questions, text prompts, uploaded images or documents, and audio or transcripts when you use AI tutor, scan, or voice features. Only grant camera or microphone access when you want to use those features.
- Purchases and access: subscription product, entitlement status, and limited transaction details needed to grant and manage premium access. The relevant payment platform processes payment credentials; NOVA FORGE AI does not need your complete payment-card number.
- Operational information: technical information reasonably needed to provide the service, diagnose failures, secure accounts, and prevent abuse, as permitted by applicable law.
2. How we use information
We use information to register and authenticate accounts; remember settings and study preferences; answer learning requests and personalize features; deliver purchased entitlements; respond to support or deletion requests; maintain reliability and security; and meet legal obligations.
3. Service providers and data sharing
Depending on which functions are enabled, our service may use Supabase for authentication and database services, Google for sign-in and app-store services, RevenueCat for subscription management, and AI inference providers such as Groq for generating AI responses. Information you submit to an AI-powered feature may be sent to the provider needed to process that request. Infrastructure providers may process limited technical data required to operate the service. We may disclose information when lawfully required or to protect users and the service.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Privacy and retention practices of the relevant provider may also apply.
4. Camera, microphone, and files
Camera, microphone, or local file permissions are requested only when relevant features need them. Content you choose to submit may be transmitted for processing; opening a camera or microphone feature does not by itself authorize unrelated collection. We aim to request only permissions relevant to the feature being used.
5. Retention and account deletion
We retain information as necessary to operate accounts, provide requested services, support legitimate security needs, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the category of information and applicable requirements. When you request deletion, we will verify your request, delete eligible personal data and associated records, and explain any information that must be retained where required by law.
To request account and associated data deletion, see our Account Deletion page or email raunaksinghsingh4@gmail.com. A request to delete your account does not automatically cancel a store-billed subscription; cancel subscriptions through the relevant store.
6. Your choices and rights
You can choose which information to submit, manage certain app preferences, change app permissions through device settings, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal data. Available rights and exceptions depend on local law.
7. Children and school-age learners
NOVA FORGE AI includes learning concepts relevant to school-age users. Where parental consent, age-appropriate notices, or extra protections are legally required, we must implement these before enabling the relevant service for minors. Parents or guardians may contact us with questions or requests about a child’s account. Do not submit sensitive information about children without appropriate authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures intended to protect account and learning information, including access controls on supported cloud services. No online system can be guaranteed entirely secure. Please protect your account credentials and report concerns to our support address.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app’s functionality and data practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate. The updated policy will show its effective date.
